Alice Betteridge
This is me, with my beloved rescue pup, Harmony!
Hi there- I'm Alice, a 19 year old, proud Gamilaaray and Chilean woman. I'm currently studying at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, completing a Bachelor of Music Education with a principal study in Classical Clarinet Performance. Outside of Uni, I currently work casually for the Sydney Youth Orchestras and part-time at St Scholastica's College Glebe Point as a First Nations Learning Support Officer. I am also a musician for SYO, and have recorded at the ABC for First Nations composer Deborah Cheetham. Below is my ABC recording, which has definitely been one of the highlights of my musical journey.
Beyond uni, I would love to be a classroom music teacher for a while, before one day going into the business side of the music world, working for organisations such as Opera Australia or Musica Viva.
Above is my recording project at the ABC- it was a truly incredible experience, and hopefully I can be a part of something like this again!
